Sorry about the title, I did a cut and paste.
Left for a roadtrip Friday, turned around after 100 miles and limped home.
Front Suspension issues. Ok.
Shop says the Inner Tie Rods are only available (in their system)by replacing the Rack and Pinion. $$$
Rock Auto shows these.
https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/mor...nid=411&jpid=1
(Link takes awhile to load, not sure why...)
He has agreed that if I can provide the parts he'll do the labor.
Any other U.S Sources fora better product? Will this one surfice for the Winter?
I'm assuming that the Inners can be replaced without doing the entire rack.
Any input is appreciated, I enjoy this car, but am not looking to put 1.5x into it as I paid for it at this point. (After just a month..)
Thanks in advance.

That looks nearly identical to the inner tie rod on my x350 steering rack. Jaguar will say they are not replaceable separately, but you can indeed replace them with OE inner rods from ZF (ZF makes the whole rack, as far as I know). I just had to find the part in the ZF online catalog, then searched that in Rockauto and had them in 3 days.
I would not assume the part numbers are the same for the x300 and x350, but they should be available.
