Hi, have a pretty big problem with a parasic battery drain, in fact huge!!, drain test shows 6.96AMPS!!!, disconnected alternator down to 4.56AMPS so still have a massive drain, had alternator bench tested and its ok, also shows ECU is still powered up when key out of ignition. HELP any ideas? Cheers Mark

 

Check the little flap in the ignition is closing when you remove the key.
The alarm chirp sounder, behind the right front wheel arch, maybe grounded.
Make sure all courtesy lights are turning off.
Following that, if you still have the problem, isolate each main fuse box in turn.

 

Just to give an update, Fault FOUND, was the alarm sounder, pulled 10amp fuse in engine bay fuse board and the drain went away and car working fine, weird as the alarm warning and the alarm works fine so wondering what sounder fuse that was. Thanks Jim for the pointers!!!!
