Hello everyone,

I'm not new to the forum as I've been around for several years with my 1992 Jaguar XJS and 2007 XK; however, last week I found a beautiful 2001 Jaguar XJ8 VDP Supercharged to add to my collection up here in Canada.

Haven't really been able to drive it yet because of the snow/salt; however, I can't wait for the Spring to hit the roads. It is in beautiful condition as I brought it up from Jacksonville Florida. Mechanically, everything has been done and cosmetically it just needs some minor items (ie. headliner, restoration of fogged wood trim).

Anyways, looking forward to being on this part of the forum and love the community.

Until the plastic tabs get loose on the hubcap and you lose one!!!!!!!!!!!!(or someone at the store parking lot needs one of YOURS)
Then you are out over a hundred dollars or whatever the rate is for a good-used.

 

Yeah...the stock Vanden Plas caps are far more plentiful and there are very few
in this area that might ever need one. That said, I have had several unsavory types
giving my leaping cat the once over.

 

awsome, i've never seen a supercharded VDP.

my black VDP is also awaiting spring.
