Default 2002 xj8 Where is my backup switch
If anyone can tell me where my backup light switch is, or email me a picture it in place I would surely appreciate it. My back up lights and alarms don't work.

backup light switch? I shift the gear to reserve and the light will be on?

I only have wiring diagrams for my 98, but I'd check fuse #1 in the trunk, it powers the reverse lights. Maybe double check your owners manual to make sure it's the right fuse.

Default backup light switch
From what I understand the switch is somehow connected to the transmission. Where I do not know. I read that it controls the backup lights and the backup alarm.
