Default 308 Sunroof panel retrieval

Any collective wisdom on retrieving the rear 1/4 of the interior sunroof panel from it's hiding place in the roof would be DEEPLY appreciated....

Tilt the roof, rear up.
Pull the inner cover assembly out from the rear from the outside, it just clips in.
Check that the two pivot arms are not broken.

Remove the three torx screw from each side of the sun roof and lift out.

Look down slides to see where the panel has gone. Coat hanger hook to slide it forward.

Very carefully bend the pivot pin backwards so that the arm will engage in the panel. Do not try bending the die cast arm. Only use pliers on the pivot itself.

Replace sunroof and align by reverting to closed.
Tilt again and slide cover back in and click it into the arms.
