Can anyone narrow this down....both taillights not lighting
Relay#R3 ok, replaced both bulbs, cannot identify which part would control only 2 rear tailigts...all other lights OK, incl lic lite, rev lites, brake lights all OK

 

Maybe wrong bulb installed? Disconnect one tail lamp assembly and see if the other comes on. If not, do the opposite way around.

 

might a have BPM problem

 

check fuse # 3 rh heel board.. and #5 and #7 LH heel board

 

a hard reset might fix it.

 

Ahhhh good old hard reset.....money in the bank....lol

prior to blog inquiry...replace both tail lightbulbs with 1157LL after noticing that right bulb was bad, though lefttested good.
Is there a fuse that controls only rear tail lights?
Both license plate ;ites are OK
Owners manual does not indicate which fuse controls taillights.

By "hard reset"...
do you mean pound on it?
Or..jar heavily..the lighting assembly?

If so, I have a 32 oz. hammer in the toolkit, just for that purpose,
though usually for mechanical problems, never electrical.

Hard reset is disconnecting battery for 5 minutes. Did you try reinstalling the old good bulb? Some bulbs dont work well in our cars.
Bpm is behind glovebox. Try hard reset first.
