ABS and Trac not available lights fixed.
After reading all the YOUTUBE threads and videos as well as posts here, I went and got another ABS module off a 2001 Vanden Plas at PicknPull. You MUST have a E5 torx socket to remove the 4 bolts holding it onto the ABS assembly. On the wreck I cut the brake lines to get access. On my car I slightly bent the lines to gain access to these 4 bolts. There's a pair of relays in the way mounted on the driver side radiator support which must be removed as well. I took the relay bracket off and pushed it to the side. I was lucky that the module had an orange decal on it saying rebuilt! The reason I got another was to have a spare module in case my future solder repair did not work. Because it said rebuilt I decided to just swap it out. Well,,,, the swap worked! The lights went out as quickly as the car was started and have remained out now for 2 hours of driving. Because I gently pushed the lines out of the way, I didn't have to bleed the brake system.
