Has anyone added an after market badge to one side of their grille? I am thinking of doing so but would love to see some pics of what others have done and see how it looks. Details of where you purchased it and how you attached it would be helpful as well .
Couple different combos (I get bored frequently ) . Couple are tradional grille badges that attach via two bolts thru the mesh. Mesh comes out easily with a couple phillips screws then mount them up. With the "R" emblem I ordered a cheap one off ebay then epoxied bolts and made a little plate for the same type of attachment
setup.

So I purchased the Coventry badge off of eBay along with the matching key chain . What was the significance of the Coventry badge? I know it where the jaguar factory is but were the badges to commemorate a certain event or made for a certain model?
Someone please correct me and chime in if i am wrong, but I believe it is the town north of London where the original Jaguar assembly factory was and where the latest factory still is?
I bought this R badge on eBay. It just sticks on. I've had it on the car for about a year so the adhesive is good quality. I forget how much it was but it wasn't expensive. If I recall correctly, it's a badge from an XFR for eBay search purposes. If it falls off, I'll get another one.

I put the same one on the grill of my XJR, a bit higher looks better to me.
I used the adhesive to hold it in place but supplemented it with two small zip ties, can't be seen at all.

There are a lot of these out there!
This is a reproduction of the original Jaguar Owners Association badge (after the initial 100 founders badges that had a gold flash) that dates to 1954 in North America (unfortunately there are also poor quality knock offs out there--think India). JOA became JCNA in 1958 so the badge below has also become well ordered and used this year---
