Another fng question
Just got the car back. New thermostat and housing and hoses were "perished".
All good.
How the f is the rear view mirror adjusted? There is a auto button and some sort of knob on the back side. Am. Missing something. Thought the auto button was for electronic mirror dimmer?

Interior Rear View Mirror darkening feature.
The button at the bottom of the mirror turns on/off the non-glare feature (headlights glare from a vehicle behind you).
Driver's (owner) handbook section on Interior Rear View Mirror (page number 58, but use page 60 in PDF search):
The interior rear view mirror is of the electrochromic type, and is operated by the control button at the base of the mirror.
When switched on, the mirror darkens automatically to prevent glare from a following vehicle's headlamps, and clears when light levels return to normal or when reverse gear is selected.
To operate: To switch ON, press the control button. An LED lights up to indicate that automatic operation is selected. Press again to switch OFF.
Auto-Headlight feature (page 35 but use page 37 in PDF search):
The knob on the back side of the interior rear view mirror is auto-headlight feature. When turn to the on position, the headlights and side lights come on or off depending on pre-determined light level sensed by the mirror.
I noticed that it turns on the headlights & side lights during the daytime when I pull into our garage (low amount of light in there during morning hours). Also comes on when driving in the evening as it gets dark.
