Default Beloved xj8 back from the Dead...

picking up car from Garage today, after a ordeal with a transmission part covered under warranty. needless to say, the repair shop decided to drain my oil instead of the transmission fluid. picked up from shop and did not make it out of the parking lot. destroyed the engine, tranny shop says not their problem... towed it to service garage and had a new engine installed used what was salvageable from old engine. now to get the baby all cleaned up and back in shape for Christmas... The GREENSHADOW lives on...

Congratulations on saving another car from the junk yard! May you have many enjoyable years ahead. Mine was a money pit for a while, but has gone 2 years with
just cosmetic items.
