Default Brake rotors and pads for 02 Sport

Hi guys. Here is why I am wanting to do my front rotors and pads. Other side looks like this as well. Does anyone have specific rotors and pads that you recommend?

.

There are lots of options for brake rotors, Autohaus lists fronts at a pretty reasonable price, and free shipping!

As for pads I swear by Akebono semi-ceramics, not cheap, but they have great feel and really low dust.

+1 for Akebono. I have used them on three different X308s, an X350 and a BMW over the years. They are my go-to pads now.

I use Brembo brand rotors on my XJR. My car does not have the "Brembo Package", I have regular base model XJR brakes but I find that the Brembo brand rotors stay shiny and work well with the Akebono pads.

There's lots of good quality pads and rotors out there but the above are my preferred for the X308 cars.

Thanks guys! Not a lot of money at all. Do you have a link for the Brembo brand rotors? Not that I need them, but if they aren't a lot

I ordered the Brembo rotors originally from Autopartsway but they alerted me that they were back ordered (or they no longer sold them but the website wasn't updated?), something...I can't remember. They refunded my money and I found that my local AutoZone auto parts store stocked them to fit my car. Original Brembo rotors for all four corners in a box that said "Made in Italy". I was surprised and happy to find them at the corner store; bought them all 4 for a little over $150 if I remember correctly.

I just went to my local AutoZone website. They still carry the Brembo rotors but their prices have gone up dramatically! $122.99 each for the front and $74.99 each for the rear.

Thanks Harvest! Well last night the car, the car threw a p0172 and a p0175. So later today, I will check fuel pressure, regulator vacuum line for raw fuel and see what the MAF readings are. Once I fix that, I'll attend the brakes.

I just recently replaced my rotors with Centrics and pads with Pagid(semi-metallic) (this is with the Brembo brake package). I get the occasional squeek and more brake dust than the previous ceramics but the brake pedal feel is more gradual for everyday use.
