I went and did my mandatory inspection today. Hot outside and AC on all day. Inspection went fine. On my way home I had to stop for another errand. When I got back to the car and drove away, only hot air came out from AC.
At home I retrieved the AC fault codes by holding down the AUTO and RECIRC buttons.
I get fault codes 23 and 14.
Any ideas what to do next?

After that I would get a set of AC gauges on the car and post back what the hi and lo side are reading.

There is a guy outside Camp Zama who is a wiz on fixing A/C in European cars. (if he is still alive -- it was 45 years ago he fixed my Bavaria).

I would find a really good A/C shop: check the A/C switch just aft of the radiator for green foam (if that switch is blown, you will get a fault 23)

faultcode23 - Refrigerant pressure switch malfunction Harness / connector fault Switch open / short circuit. Refer to PDU23 Refrigerant pressure low refrigerant charge *Leak from damaged pipe or joint.
fault code 14 - Water temperature input malfunction
