Can a 1996 XJ6 seat fit in an XJ8

Needed the motors and rails, and I see someone is parting a 1996 Vanden Plas. Was wondering if the seat, motor and fitment was same.

Hi omgimali,

Check the diagrams and part numbers at jaguarclassicparts.com. The leather stitching patterns may be different, but the seat rails are very, very similar between the X300 and X308s. You might have to swap some electrical connectors, but the mounting points of the rails should be the same.

Hopefully another member will know for certain.
