A local auto parts store will read the codes and reset on request , just tell them you have the light

Be sure to write down the code #s and don't rely on remembering them , ask me how I know

please let us know the year of your model for the correct engine manual as there was some changes

Default Mistake

Nice cheerleaders, started the thread in the wrong place, have a 2004 xj. Codes were p0300, 03 and 05, 1111 and 1316. Appeared to misfire from fuel. My obdii wouldn't allow clearing for some reason. All seems to be running well.

It's not running well. You need to fix those codes or expect cat damage.

You might check your coils and plugs for cylinders 3 and 5 and I would
first check to see what voltage your battery has both prior to starting and
while the Jaguar is running.
