Default Compatible years for XJR engine and transmission

Going to list on EBay the engine and tranny from the salvage car I recently bought. It’s a 2001 XJR. Door label below.
Want to correctly list compatible cars. I’ve seen some listed as 98-03 and I don’t think that’s right. I’ve seen others listed as 01-03.
Am I correct that if works in a XJR for a given year also works for same year XKR?
Jaguar part number for engine? tranny?

I believe you might be safe listing it as a fit for 2001-2003 vin 8th digit "B"

I agree with xalty

The 2000MY XJR is AJ27 as are the 2001-2003MY cars.(1998-1999 XJR are AJ26)

In other words, a 2001 XJR engine is good for XJR-s (or Super V8-s) after VIN 878717, i.e. from VIN F00035. The transmission is good for all SC X308-s.

All 4.0 XKRs are AJ27 in the US. (2000MY to 2002MY)

Not sure if I clearly stated my question as to the tranny. What years do a SC X-100 use the Mercedes transmission from a 2001 XJR?

ALL 4.0 XKRs use the 722.6 (5A580) gearbox.
