Default Convert transmission on 2004 XJB?

Is there any transmission out there that I could use to replace the ZF tranny with? I'm unable to get it out of Park. The ABS, DCS and Transmission fault lights are all on. Based on what I've read here and in other forums, the ZF model isn't exactly the preferred tranny. Is it possible there's another transmission that I could retro-fit in it's place. I've read some posts about possibly replacing it with a Z6 tranny. Any information is much appreciated.

Moderator will probably move this to the X350 section.
But anyway, see here- https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ck-park-85682/
or here- http://www.justanswer.com/jaguar/53g...tuck-park.html

The ZF is great. No trans suits everyone but it's one of the best. The stuck in ... fault isn't the trans to blame.

This is probably a cheap <$100 sensor that needs to be replaced. Keep the ZF tranny.
