Coolant leak after engine shutoff
So you end up with gallons of coolant on the garage floor? Then you refill, drive and repeat the process every time you stop?
sounds like more than a 'leak', i'd be looking for a ruptured hose, radiator plug missing (or open) holes in the radiator. this much fluid should be obvious as to source and will not require a pressure test, of that I am sure

sounds like a bad water pump to me......look at the front of the engine for coolant staining. this is why I LOVE Jaguar red coolant, it stains everything making it way easier to trace leaks than any other coolant Ive ever seen... But with that kinda leak you should be able to easily find it. I suspect the water pump cause many times theyre the ones that are leakers one way or the other from the bearing going out in the nose. either they leak all the time, or only when running or only after sitting.
I just cant think of anything else Ive ever seen that would leak on/off

Sorry , this might sound stupid but a similar thing happened to me last month . I overfilled the coolant reservoir but didn't tight it enough but I didn't realize it .
I drove the car nothing happened , I parked the car into the garage and stopped the engine and I nocited something was leaking ,I was like geeeee
I opened the hood and saw hot fluid running down aroudn the cap .I grabbed a rag and tighten it hardly and voila it stopped raining opppsss I mean drippling lol

Hi there
I had this on mine when they fitted a new engine
Check the 2 hoses going into the front top of the coolant reservior, they should cross over before they clip in.
Mine were the wrong way around, easy to check & fix
Regards
Gary
