Unhappy Cooler hose spider mess

After getting everything back together from a front timing replacement, I discovered a water leak when filling the rad. It's coming from the mess of hoses and wires below the throttle body. It can only be coming from the bundle of rubber hoses that tie the throttle body, water reservoir, engine water pump, small electric pump below the water reservoir, and another hose back below the firewall. What a mess! Who ever thought of this route should be shot! Anyway, I'm just venting.

So a kit that somewhat resembles my spider maze is over $100 and I'm not sure it's the same. Has anyone just made up an assembly with high quality heater hose?

I've copied your question from General Tech Help for advice from members with the same model.

The octopus as its known, is what it is. Definitely suggest OEM if you can get it. Yours is over 20 yrs old probably (if not being replaced before), so you got a great life out of it.

The attached parts diagrams should help you establish what hoses you need.
