What year XJ8/XJR front lower control arms will fit on my 2002 XJR?

I have all new bushings and ball joints and want to buy another set of used arms and install all the new components, then just swap the refurbished arms onto my car to minimize downtime.

Searching online, I’m having a difficult time telling if there is a difference between other years of XJRs and the XJ8’s with respect to the control arms.

I don’t want to buy a set of arms that won’t work, and waste a bunch of time and money installing the new parts, only to have the arms not be right for my car.

Are you speaking of the lower control wishbone arm that connects to the spring cup? In any case years 98-03 should fit.

 

The two pieces that bolt together and that the spring plate bolt to.

Do you know why there are different part numbers if they are interchangeable?

What are those part numbers? One half of the arm comes around the backside (#3) and the other comes around the front (#4) and bolt to the spring cup plate. Is it possible you have the part numbers for each of these pieces?
