Default Differential Output Shaft Bearings

Has anyone found a cheaper alternative to the JLM20337 bearing that is not as absurdly overpriced as the OEM part? Maybe a Timken or something else? Thanks

I can tell you it is an SKF bearing, with a part number that looks to be "13 13 1 13 1 8 8 2 0 2 ITALY V "

Having said that, the 13's could be B's . Hope this is of some use.

I would measure the O.D., I.D. and width with a caliper micrometer, then proceed over to McMaster-Carr website and choose a bearing. I know they aren't the cheapest, but you'll get it quick. Whatever you decide, could you please post a P/N for future reference?

I believe the thickness of the bearing is a few MM too large for same OD deep grove single row bearing.

SKF bearing: BB1B 1862021 B

72mm OD, 29mm Wide, 35mm ID
Seal on inside, shield on outside

I dont want to say a 27mm +2mm shim is a good idea

So does this work? As in this part number but a shim is needed? About to look into mine, may be time to do something.....

The SKF # is the exact bearing jaguar uses.

Typical bearings of the same OD and ID are 27mm vs the 29mm (our 14hu output bearings). So a 27mm double row angular contact bearing +2mm shim and +2mm camber shims could work (but i don't think its the best solution)

i don't believe 72mm OD is a standard metric shim size
