Default Door panel plug

Having trouble getting the little plastic plug out in the inner door latch panel on the front passenger door. Driver's side came out without too much fuss but i cant seem to get a purchase on this one. Ive tried small flathead screwdrivers, picks, sticky tape, but it doesn't budge. Suggestions before i ruin it more?

Thanks!

There are a few plastic plugs fitted in the door panel. It would probably aid forum members to aid you
if they knew which one you were referring to...Pictures (photos) are most helpful with identification.

Sorry, its the little grey plug that covers the screw holding the trim piece on the inside door handle. This is the only plug on my door panels.

sharp mini pick, go in from the side and tilt the pick into it, it pops out - it can leave a very small mark but it gets it every time. These little sods are keyed so they only fit one way!

I used a razor blade to pop it out. I've also heard that compressed air works.

Ahhhh...that one! Yes that one wasn't easy for me either. I ended up using a metal dental pick
and used a needle nose to bend the very end the pick so I could get behind the little devil.

I thought you were actually behind that panel on your first post in this thread.

Thanks all, I got the thing out last night with a 90 degree pick. It was really wedged in there but eventually gave up and I was able to get the panel off.
