About 1 out of 3 times when unlocking the driver's side the stalk will only come part way up. If hit lock/unlock multiple times it does not change. Always locks fine. Have to open with key. Have to turn CCW to lock all the way and then CW to open. Doesn't seem to be any problem with tumblers. I squirted in some graphite dust just in case. Something is hanging up. Power lock mechanism?

 

The latch/lock assy probably needs lube.

First thing I always try is to lower the glass and spray lube down inside the door on the rear outside of the glass toward the latch assy and soak the pivots and rods.
Of course you can remove the interior trim panel a lube it correctly.
