Electrochromic mirror
Hi,
I have an XJ8 SE 2002 3.2, Right hand drive. and power folding mirrors
With a problem with the Passenger door mirror is stuck in a green / almost 3D view during and & night. the drivers & rear view mrrors are both working fine. this fault just happend one afternoon.
Has anyone had the same problem ?

the electro chromatic mirror has two
Connectors on the rear one for heating the other is the electro chromic function,
When I removed the mirror from the car and power supply the mirror remand green!!
But the drivers door side is working fine in day & night mode very odd
This may be a fault within the mirror glass? Which I have not seen before!!

redpop, I had this problem with a GM vehicle that I own, I replaced the mirror glass only (ebay, from a wreck) for about a hundred dollars. No more greenish 3D effect! BTW that effect drove me crazy.
