engine swap question
A few months ago I bought an XJ8L. A couple of weeks ago I blew the engine. A couple of people have recomended dropping a Chevy 350 small block V8 in instead of the Jag V8. However, nobody seems to know for sure if it will bolt right onto the existing tranny. Any thoughts?

This swap was a common practice in the '80's and early '90's but things have change a little since then . . . computers happened. JagsThatRun.com has a couple books on the subject but you may find the swap is a great deal more complicated now.
