I am thinking of putting some electric "cut outs" on the exhaust on my XJR.

Can anyone tell me the diameter of the exhaust on my 2001?

I know I could go look and measure myself, but I feel like shopping for parts right now, not crawling under the car, lol!

I am thinking of coming off just ahead of the resonator where an x pipe could be placed.

It's between 1 7/8" and 2" in most places.

I've actually had the exact same idea as you've described here. A little disappointed it's not as original as I'd hoped

Do you execute your plan in the end? And if so did you come across anything you think would be good to pass on for when I have a go?
