I have a 98 XJR. I cannot seem to get it to enter programming mode. My flash to pass seems to be inoperative. Has anyone had a headlight switch fault like this that could prevent the computer from "seeing" the flash to pass inputs and therefore never enter program mode? Thanks in advance!

 

The combination switch can fail (one or more soldered wires break) and cause the feature to not function.
