Default Front Camber Tie Down Link

Hi all,

I hope you're all doing well this fine winter day. I'm changing the front shocks on my car and was wondering if anyone has a front camber tie-down link, pn 204-114 or JD 133, that I can borrow or rent?

I guess I'm not even sure what this is for...I've changed shocks on all kinds of cars without tying the suspension down, But if it's in the manual I better take it seriously!

Thanks in advance

If you put the car on stands (or on a lift) you can put a floor jack under the lower arm somewhere to keep the arm from 'over-extending' during damper replacement.

Exactly. Just use stands under the jack points, and then position your floor jack under the control arm. This will let you slowly let the assembly down to it's furthest reach to allow for the shock replacement. Just did it (again) two weeks ago. Other than having to temporarily remove the lower sway link bolt for access, it's a very simple process and no specialized tools needed.
