Hello, this is new to me.

I own a 1998 Jaguar XJR and recently I have been having an issue where I will get a gas smell faintly inside but outside it is strong and my car will shut off. It will crank back up but as soon as I drive it will sputter. Funny thing is when I first drive it it runs great just after an hour or so I start having this issue and don't know where to turn.

Can anyone help me please.
