engine spec'c xj8
Hi Jimc64
I have only just purchased my first jag 1998 xj8 x308
I know your thread was a long time ago 2012 (handbook)
I was wondering if you know where I might get the spec's for the AJ27 Crankshaft
as I was thinking of stroking my AJ26 up in size
good reading many of your posts
and hope you or you can recommend some one who can
thank you regards Dutchy

This document can give you much information on the two engines (along with the AJ-63 3.0 liter v6 and the AJ-34 4.2 liter v8) and what changes were made. http://www.mediafire.com/file/mt7abv...e+Code+168.pdf

parts
I am not sure as I am a new jag owner I get a lot of wiring info from S & G Barrett
https://www.sngbarratt.com
they are always helpful with email replies
it is quite annoying the electrical changes between models of the same vintage
