Default Ignition Control Module

Good Morning.

I have a 1999 XJ8 VP. Can anyone tell me where the Ignition Control Module is. I have a new one, but cant seen to find the one on the car. I looked in the area where the brake booster is, and its not there. I'm reading that this car may not have one, but not sure thats true. Just took it out of storage and Im trying to get it in running condition.

Thanks

Playfone

The MY 99 NA XJ8 uses an AJ27 engine which has the amplifiers built into the coils. You are looking where the non-integral amps were in the AJ26 engine. Hint- integrated amp coils have 4 wires, external amp coils have 2 conductors.

This is the X308 forum.

The V8 has nothing to do with a 1993 Jaguar.

Please post in the correct forum section.
