Hi all,

After having a bit of time to start assessing in detail the jobs required on the new purchase, i came across this sticker in the engine bay. I was wondering if anyone knew what it is referencing?

European type approvals.

EU certification referred to as EC or the e-Mark. The e-Mark is based on EU Directive and is a safety certification mark which member states apply on a motor vehicle, parts and systems. The numbers are individual compliances.

The reference to X300 puzzled me too. I thought X300 only referred to XJ6 models?

 

As the body platform is the same, I expect many of the approvals obtained for X300 also cover X308.
