Default Jaguar pickup

Hi, its been 2 years since i started but just had it IVA,d and its now on the road. Still got a few things to finnish off. I know some of you will not take kindly to what i have done but at least i saved it from the jag breakers in the sky!!. Its completly standard apart from a new fuel tank in the rear seat well and a wooden bed. Any questions please feel free. Cheers Mark Sorry about a couple of photos but i cant rotate the images, they were sent the right way up!!!!

Great job. Especially considering how much regulations in this country deter many from being so creative.

I've rotated these ones for easier viewing:

Hi Graham, thanks for pic rotation!!!. You would not believe the trouble i,ve had with dvla, all information and forms all contradicte themselves as do the people who have dealt with my case. Total idiots, its now a light goods vehicle registered in 2016 on a Q plate. I only have swear words for those pen pushers, none have common sense, i could go on and on, RANT OVER. Mark

Had many a run in with DVLA, I think the problem is too many office windows looking out over fields!!!

Good job on the pick up conversion, I think it is the first one I have seen based on an X308.

Being a Texan I think I need one of those. I have a 1980 VW Rabbit Pick-up (caddy) and a 1988 Chevy 3/4 ton PU. I have 2 X308s so I could cut/weld one up from my current inventory????

I don't know if I have the time for more projects but it sure would be interesting.

Good Job on the conversion!!!!!!

I've had 3 Jaguar saloons, 87 XJ6, 97 X300 and 02 XJR. I always hear about the "tiny boot". Just what are people trying to put in there? I can fit my family of four in the passenger area and all their luggage for a week in my trunk. I must be missing something.

I've noticed that non car people tend to use their cars for extra storage and just haul a bunch of their junk around with them constantly. How many times you go to lunch with a coworker, but "wait, I'll have to move some of that stuff out of the passenger seat before you can sit down." These are the same people whose expensive cars sit outside in the driveway while their garage is full of crap that wouldn't fetch $200 if they sold it all in a yard sale. And if they have children, its even worse. That's why the market demands astronomical huge trunks, so people can store more stuff in their driveway.
