Default Jaugar XJ8R.1998

Hello I still have problem with my jag gearbox changed oil / filter still the same problem fault codes PO730 & PO780 and gearbox light comes on gearbox fault any one knows what is it.once car goes its fine could drive all day gears change fine stop for hour than problem no gear change or want go forward than switch it of restart its ok somes times do few times swith of restart before you can drive it I dont think there is fault in gearbox may be gearbox ECU

How did you measure your fluid to determine your level and how much did you put in? It sounds like your a tad shy of the proper level.

Hello gearbox oil was checked/changed by Jaugar dealer.

Wow: a keyboard without a period. Dude, your description of the issue is really hard to read without punctuation.

I would suggest that you take it back to the dealer who changed the fluid and filter. I agree with Highhorse, sounds like you are low on fluid. But the dealer's diagnostic software can read the fault codes.

Mac there is an issue with the transmission control wiring seal, the trans fluid can creep up the harness and cause these faults - you'll need to get this checked out.
