It has to be programmed at the dealer if I'm not mistaken.

P1260-THEFT Detected, Vehicle Immobilized.

Sounds like you need a trip to the dealer. BTW, how does autologic help you in programming the key fob?

We have outside shops that prgramme keys using Autologic. Keys for 98-2003 have been known to have bad chip. I would return them and get them recut. Also who cut them? Dealer or somewhere else. Look furthest end away from key blade and see if there is a raised spot. That is the chip. If not there, that would be your problem. And just a further note, you can indeed programme remotes for all jags except S-Type or new X150 without trip to dealer and with no tools. All done thru ignition barrel and light flash sequencing. If you want the info, email me and I will tell you.

Not clear whether your issue is the key FOB needs programming or the key. For the key: You need to find an independent technician or locksmith that has the software to reprogram.
