low coolant related to no heat?
I drove my jag this morning, and didn't have any heat. The blower worked fine, and the temperature arrow would take the number to 81F, but there was no heat. Then, after driving it approximately 10 miles the low coolant stayed on for maybe 45 seconds; then it went off. It did this twice. Does anyone think the low coolant would affect the lack of heat? I recently had the head gaskets, tensioners updated, etc. And I haven't had to add any coolant until now. Thanks in advance
Cat's cooling system is VERY sensitive. Make sure that it's properly purged, and topped off. Mine showed "low coolant" the day I bought it (it would show up for few seconds on hard cornering), and I topped it off (it took about 5 ounces!), and no more warning.
You might have an air pocket in there, which would affect the heater. Search "purging coolant", and take your time doing it.

yes, both times that I got the light was when I made a uturn and on an uneven road. I am going after some coolant afterwhile, but I was curious to see if this might be the no heat culprit.
More likely would be Aux Heat Pump, Water Pump, Thermostat, heat diverter valve, or???
