Default Lug Nuts for 2003 Jaguar XJR

I have spent hours reading threads on lug nuts and am more confused than ever. Would someone please tell me which aftermarket lug nuts are available for a 2003 Jaguar XJR? Please provide manufacturer, part numbers, links, HELP. Going on long trip and need to replace lug nuts that are missing washers and otherwise look crappy. Thanks from a confused newbie.

It's a 1/2-20 thread, but is a shank style nut, so your typical tapered acorn nut does not work. You pretty much have to get them from a Jaguar parts supplier. The best price I've found is at Welsh Enterprises.

Welsh Enterprises - New Jaguar Parts, Used Jaguar Parts and Accessories - XK120 - XK140 - XK150 - E-Type - MK - XJ6 - XJ8 - XJ - XK8 - XK - XJS - S-Type - X-Type - XF

The only place I've ever found them locally was at the Jag dealership, and they were a small fortune each.

You might try these McGard parts. Not entirely sure they'll work though, I have not tried them.

1/2-20 is for sure, took a a great deal of research and learning about nut dimensions from thread size, length depth during my wheel conversion with different bolt pattern

Default Eyedoc Says they Rusted

Quote from Eyedoc:

"They will fit 98-03 (XJR). I ran mine through one winter.
They are rusting out already. I wouldn't buy them again."

These are a no go for me. Thanks for sharing info.

Look at member burmaz posting in the Would these lug nuts fit (post #5):

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...it-x308-81007/

His quote "These are the exact lug nuts I bought. They fit the asteriods perfectly."

He had a weblink to this ebay listing (that is now closed) Ebayer was dpaccessories
Chrome Factory/OEM Toyota/Lexus/Scion Style Wheel/Lug Nuts, 1/2-20, Set of 20

But I did find the same ebay listing by dpaccessories currently offered ($23.35 price):

Chrome Factory OEM Toyota Lexus Style Wheel Lug Nuts Mag Seat Qty 20` | eBay

Ebay reviews on seller are mixed (some good and some not so good).

You should contact member burmaz about the lug nuts he purchased from them in Sept 2012.

Smile Thank You

Thank you CabezaGrande (Big Head) and JimLombardi. I went with Welsh Enterprises for $8.95 per lug nut. Original OEM. I guess you can't go wrong at this price point for a factory part. You guys saved me a lot of money. Cheers.

As always, you have to be careful with a 2003 XJ-anything, as in some markets it's an X308, and some it's an X350.

So know which you own ,and know which the vendor thinks an '03 is.

It's always good when buying parts to quote the model number (X300/X308/X350), rather than just the year. And of course, if you can, the actual part number.
Avoids confusion about cars at the start and end of model runs
