Manual Shift Override : how to get dead car in neutral
My car is dead and I’m trying to put it in neutral and roll it somewhere else. But it’s stuck in park. I’ve removed the dust cover and am looking for a lever to flick and manually shift it into neutral. There’s nothing on the left lower side. There’s a six pointed Allen wrench screw that I have not removed because I don’t have that tool. How do I find that lever ? Do I need to unscrew that Allen wrench ?
Unscrew the plastic torx plug you mentioned (I've just used a wide flat head in the past), and stick a screwdriver a few inches down that hole to push on the interlock bypass. Then you should be able to move out of p

Ahhhh....come on Jim. We are dealing with a generation who have been spoon fed from birth.
They are not going to change that attitude until they have no other option. Yelling at the milk spilt
on the floor will not clean it up, however teaching so as not to spill the milk, solves the whole issue.
