Default New wheel opinion and sizing question

Hey guys, the xj8 is running great and treating me well. Only issue is that the Xjr wheels I bought are pretty bent and the ride is terrible. Wish I looked them over better before buying them. Anyways they would require 600 dollars in repairs, so I want to go ahead and purchase brand new wheels. It's pretty tough for our cars because I want to stay under 1k. I also want 18" because I prefer the size and would like to use the 255/40/18 tires I purchased for the Xjr wheels since they only have 3k miles.

Here is an auction for the style I like best. The offset, bolt pattern and hub size seem correct. Please let me know if you think these would not work.

Here is an idea of how it would look.

I know these are typical for an American muscle car, but I prefer simple rim designs like these and I think it will look cool.

Thanks for reading and let me know what you think.

I should say they will work fine.
The offset on the standard 7J wheels are 33, these are ET32.
Should not have problems front nor rear, surely not with 255/40 tires.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply! The hub size is pretty large too. When I measured the stock Xjr rims I remember them being between 70-72. These are over 80

The original Jaguar wheels are hub centric. This is how the wheel is located
on the hub.

If you have a 80mm hub bore on a 70-72 hub, you will no longer be using
a hub centric system.

I saw those and similar for my XJR this last week while searching for new wheels for my XJR too. They would look great on a Camaro or Mustang, but they do not suit the big cat at all IMO. Check out wheels by Coventry. Theyre specially made just for Jags by TSW and have a few styles a lot more appropriate to our cars IMO

Thanks for the comments and suggestions guys. I appreciate the honesty and advice. I did look at Coventry, but I like simple rims with 5-8 spokes and I am not a fan of the hornet style. I might just deal with the Xjr rims as they are.
