Default No Turn signal noise/reverse sensor sound

I have nor turn signal "noise", "Gong","click" and I also have no backup sensor sound. Also when I select memeory and then select a 1 2 or 3 I get no report back yet it does program the seat and mirror settings. Any thoughts? Oddly enough about once every 6 onths or so all will be working fine. Perplexing. Thanks to everyone here in the forum, I have saved no ess than 5 k with everyones advice and experience! Katherine is loving the attention.

Those sounds come from a speaker on the right side of the steering column. It sounds like the wiring may have gone intermittent.

I just had this happen. I think it's the wiring as mine is also intermittent. I believe it changes due to my Automatic Steering wheel adjustment every time I get in and out. Also likely the reason for the break in the first place. I'll be getting into it in the next few days.

Is the backup sensor sound from the same speaker as indicators etc? I have no indicator sounds or other bings & bongs, but do have proximity sound effects. I was going to yank the speaker, but if they're through the same speaker that ain't my problem.
