Parrot 9200 install
Hello all,
I'm attempting to install a parrot mk9200 into my 2001 xjr. I have an amplified Alpine system and at this point all I want to do is get the bluetooth working with the car's audio. I tried using the connector under the center console and that got me power to the parrot but nothing else. I'm guessing it would work if I didn't have the amplifier.
I've read the posts but must be thick headed. Has anyone actually done this or know how to?
Thanks in advance

You might try looking here for a connector for the phone plug in the console. Most of the instructions are for the Motorola kits, T605, but I know that SARC has installed a different parrot model in his XJR. The main thing you need is the wiring diagram which I belive is in the JTIS and some of the posts I believe by Quadmaniac and SARC.
Don't give up, this is doable. I did it with the T605 as it is very cheap and was well documented. It works extremely well, I really couldn't ask for more.

Hi
I found and posted where to download a free Jaguar Electrical guide.
Here is the Link to my posting in "1998 XJ8 lighting problem":

You will note that it is the same electrical guide that is in the JTIS.

I installed a Parrot 9100 in my 99 XJ8. That system also has a built in amp but it still had Line Level Out for rh and lh channels.
I believe there are two ways to go "in" to your radio. First is using the CD input method and the other is using the Phone input method. I chose CD because I wanted to be able to run my iPod in stereo. If you choose to do a stereo install it's a bit tougher because you need to tap into the wires at the CD changer or do like I did and get at them behind the radio.
If you only want to use the phone then you could use the plug under the console but then you only get a mono input to the radio.
The link to the electrical schematic that Jim posted above is the one I used for my job and it made things a whole lot easier.
