Default power steering leak. 2001XJ8

so what is the usual culprit? The hose or the reservoir?

It was the hose on my 2001.

On the XK8 it's usually the low pressure hose connection to the reservoir, and I expect the XJ8 is the same.

Well it does look like the hose. It appears to be a formed hose. Is this available after market?

I bought mine from Terry's and it was the High Pressure hose part number MNC3985AH. Mine failed 1.5 years ago with 145K miles on her. I had no problems with installation.

Wow, that one failed before the HP one. That's good, probably easier to replace.
