Default PSA: Side Marker bulb replacement

Trust me when I say that if you have a side marker bulb that is out, slide under the bumpers and just remove the bulb holder without trying to remove the lenses. After 20 years that plastic is brittle as hell. I broke two of these things doing so until I got a bit smarter. Rears are easy to reach right behind the mufflers, fronts may require you to lift the car.

Never even occurred to me to try to pop the lenses out, I just went for the holder underneath. Of course THAT snapped like a potato chip when I put it back in...epoxied it back together and then it broke in a completely different spot so I got it wedged in there and will replace it when I have the opportunity.

Anyone try the LED side markers?

ha, yeah that doesn't sound unlike my experience.

Didn't care for the look of the LED side markers so didn't pursue that.
