Quick question about filters
On top of all the maintenance I’m doing to my car I’m doing the fuel filter too.
I already read that K&N air filters are not recommended so I’m sticking to the (oem?) Mann filter.
But I was looking for fuel filters and noticed they have k&n fuel filters. Just curious if anyone has any problems with these fuel filters. Like over fueling ? Any power or throttle gain? Or should it run like oem or better ? If not what brand should I go with?
Installing seems straight forward.
thx again

Go to the local auto parts store and tell them you need a 1988 Chevy pickup fuel filter.
It saves time in them looking up parts for a Jaguar vs a Chevy.
I buy several at a time for my XJ8s and my Chevy C2500.

Same as above, I use a plain old AC Delco fuel filter in my XJR. There's no need for a fancy fuel filter and there is nothing to be gained, just go with a basic filter and you'll be fine. The cars computer determines fueling and any unused fuel is just returned to the tank, even if you remove the fuel filter altogether the increase in flow would not have any performance gain.
