Radiator fans running
It’s warming up in Wisconsin, but it hasn’t been that warm – low 70s tonight and pretty humid. I took the kids out for ice cream and my radiator fans stayed running for a minute or so after shutting the car off. Same thing on the way home and a couple other times this week. Thing is, the car was barely even warm when we got there - the needle hadn’t past a quarter. Hardly overheating…
In the fall I replaced the thermostat, water pump, coolant, etc. The coolant reservoir is full and there is zero evidence for anything head gasket related.
I’ve been reading old threads on similar circumstances and plan on talking about this with my mechanic, as I don’t have the means to check the actual temperature myself. I’d appreciate any thoughts anybody here might have about what, if anything, might be going on. Thanks!
