Where is cylinder no 1 on my 3.2 liter engine ?

On the LEFT cylinder bank or on the RIGHT one ?

Cyl # 2 is not firing

My car was made in 2001

So the left image would apply ?

How can I have a No ! cylinder on both banks ?

Can you please explain ? I do not understand it.

Left diagram (up to MY2002.5)

Bank 1 Cylinder 1 (1A) RIGHT BANK

Bank 2 Cylinder 1 (1B) LEFT BANK is actually Cylinder #5

FRONT
5 - 1
6 - 2
7 - 3
8 - 4
REAR
