Default Steering column phantom adjusts;2002 XJR

I never use the auto entry reset feature on my XJR (the adjuster knob on the side of the column stays in the manual position). I don't accidentally bump the switch when exiting the car. When I get back into the car, the wheel is always slightly forward and down from the full back and up position where I left it. It's like it sags on it's own. Anyone else experience this?
