So I've purchased 2 10INCH Sub boxes, 1 amp, 1 amp kit, 1 line out output converter, my guy that was gonna do install has been tied up for last 2 weeks so I'm gonna try to do this project myself. I was told I could tap into the rear speaker on the rear door.

I dont know really anything about stereo systems, electronics, etc
You need to provide us with more information, whether yours is a standard or premium system.
Next, if you've never played with this stuff, you'll need to do a lot of site searching and reading. There are tons of posts on this.
Here are a couple screenshots and I'm including the pdf they came from to assist which links at the bottom.
I have nothing to add except that I have always wanted to upgrade or modernize the sound system. Unfortunately I have not seen a unit that doesn't look completely out of place.

Went through many until I found Kenwood DPX501BT.

I love this group, I didn't expect a response so soon
Okay thank you for the diagrams, unfortunately I've never been able to determine which system I have as there are no Alpine nor HK labels on the speakers grills nor the head unit. I've pulled the unit out to cess the speaker wires the harness came unplugged which helps me get a better look at the colors, in my mind this where the line output converter will splice into?

I've been at this for a few hours now and I'm still not 100% sure where to plug in the converter nor how to run wires to the boot, One forum member said in a post that he tapped into the speakers behind the driver seat somewhere, where do I need the converter to be. I know this is not a job for a novice but I've had the system for 2 weeks and I haven't been able to get the folks that *know* to do it so I thought I'd take a crack at it if someone could *dumb* it down for me that would be great
Look in the rear window deck, if you have a speaker back there, you have the premium. Also, look in the trunk, if you have the premium, you'll have a cd changer and nav unit.
Here's a thread by LaserSVT, he does stereo installations and its obvious by the work in his car (he may have deleted some pics, they didn't all load when I opened the link)... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ag-xjr-216855/

so under the rear passenger seat is a fuse box and several bundles of wires some connecting to harnesses, just a thought could I connect my Loc to here? Just knowing that my ability to run it to the boot is limited I'm trying to get as close as possible to the boot. I have the standard system so no factory amp nor sub to run off. Oh how I wish there were!
Color code check the wires at the CD changer, rarely do auto makers use multiple harnesses. They will simply use one setup and just not plug in the attachments....ummm, like an amp and a sub.
Thank you, I tapped into speakers in front door jam kinda of a pain but I think I'm getting somewhere just need to splice in the loc and run it to the boot and Rcas I'll be in touch as it goes: can I message you on fb for more direct responses: totally ok if not.
I avoid social media and not that I don't wish to help, but discovery is your best teacher. Pay attention to that first diagram I posted, its all you should really need to figure this out. You have to do some searches as well. I have other posts (and there's many others who do about other stereo issues) where I showed a guy how and where to run new wire to the trunk and bypassing the antenna mast (which I despised). Using the premium diagram and a multimeter, I did this... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ve-one-103359/ ...as well as the wiring in that other link I posted on the fascia.
None of this is a quick patch thing. You have to keep in mind, your dealing with 20 yr old technology, in a then, premium car, with a stereo specifically designed for it. Which is why KC and myself (and many others) went 3rd party to get our results we wanted. Ironically we chose the same speaker combo...good people, good taste I guess...LOL.
Just a heads up, thanks to all your help, I was able to successfully install my own subs and amplifier with line output converter and It sounds amazing! Thank you all, I'm so happy I was able to do it all myself, besides the remote wire which was tapped into my antenna.
