Either I hold button to open sunroof or hit once for automatic open and it works, but it only stays open for 5 sec max before closing or closes right away once fully opened. What should I do?

 

Do a hard reset. Touch the cables for at least 30 seconds.

 

I had the same problem with my L a few weeks ago. Not wanting to do a hard reset and then have to re-do radio and seat memories, I pulled the fuse for a minute and stuck it back in. Everything works great now. If I remember correctly, it's #15 in the drivers rear kick panel
