Default Supercharger water pump

Has anyone on here upgraded their pump and got the old one lying around? I'm doing a build on a very tight budget and want to run two pumps in parallel- one for each bank.

My radiator for the charge cooling is about twice the capacity of the original and is also bar and plate, so more efficient. but that's not much of an upgrade if I can't increase flow! I've also got dual fans on that radiator that come on a couple of minutes after the car is started. Cooling system is also completely separate to the engine cooling system.

I'm just starting on the plumbing but can't do the supercharger circuit without a 2nd pump. So anyone got a stock pump they want to flog to an impoverished hot rodder?

You may want to consider a Bosch/Merc knock off... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Engine-Auxi...gAAOSwNU9e0OBs
By the time you include shipping from someone else, you've almost paid 1/2 for this one. Plus its new and not 20yrs or so old. I don't know where you are, but if your in the US, it ships free from Calif.

No, I need the extra flow provided by a pair of stock pumps. Plus, the cost of an upgraded pump puts a big dent in the budget.

You do know the Bosch pushes almost twice the amount by itself, right? You should easily be able to go to a scrapyard and find a couple. Probably get them for $5 or so. Your taking the same chance from a yard as you would be from anyone on here. Oh...and have you checked the Marketplace? There's a couple of totaled ones being parted out.

Problem is, people are asking £60 for a 2nd hand one! I simply don't have the money for the Bosch one. You say the Bosch one flows almost twice as much as the stock one- do you know the flow rate of the stock pump? I've been trying to find out with no success.

There is a thread floating around stating the rates...its been a few years since I read it. But if I recall, I think the Bosch was 1200 L an hr and the Jag 750...definitely not for sure.

This is what I found:

I could not find any specs for the original Hella pump but found info that Bosch 0 392 022 002, 1,200 l/hr, provides 14% higher flow than the Jag Hella. Calculating back, this results in the Hella pump providing 1,050 l/hr.

The good Bosch pump for the upgrade is Bosch 0 392 022 010 (Mercedes W203, W215, W230) having flow of 1,400 l/hr. A couple of years ago, I bought a new one on Ebay for USD 106. Currently, the cheapest UK seller (GBP 109): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-039...MAAOSwUQBeGhCt

How does it compare to the Bosch 010?
