Default Trouble looking for suspension part urgently

Hi All,

My MOT failed on something in regards to the suspension ball joint. The part it seems they cannot procure so I have to procure it myself as they have limited suppliers they are allowed to deal with.

The part seems to be JLM21171 the lower wishbone, thing is I can't find it in stock anywhere without having the buy all three parts together. Either this or if anyone knows exactly what suspension ball join part number which attaches to this part is that would be so so helpful
Thanks for any help

lower BJ is MNC1350AA, same as X100. at one point they were a service part but it was removed

if you buy a ball joint you can do it with just the knuckle off...it's not fun because of how narrow the arm is but it's doable

The ball joint is MNC1350AA. Some of the Jag parts suppliers offer Lemförder 2698001 as an aftermarket substitute for this part. You can google for the mentioned MNC or Lemförder.

According to what I have read, extracting the old BJ could be a challenge and it seems that at least a 20T press is needed with lots of heat and some hammering.

Mine came out pretty easy with a press, no hammering or heat. Cutting the flange is the pain in the ***

Thank you so much xalty,

Weirdly the garage had trouble finding just the ball joint but I found it pretty fast, maybe it could be that it would be too much effort to do so.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks!

Hopefully one or the other will be enough for the garage to do the job. It's a shame the part is so scarce somehow or that you can only but the whole unit.

Model and year really helps
Inner tie rods? Control arms? Front or Rear?

I always start by going on a website like https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/ then finding the part. That'll give you the name & part number to search for.
